Week 462 - 6 years & 1 year (17 months)

 2/14-2/20

Happy Valentines Day & Mommy’s Bday

• Lyla lost her 3rd tooth while eating Mac n cheese. (Top tooth)
• We were all home this week with school vacation & in quarantine from daycare.
• Harper has become picky with her eating. Right now she’s more of a snacked vs meal eater. She loves belveta blueberry crackers or oatmeal bites.
• Harper is starting to learn where her nose is, when we say outside she begins to get all her stuff to go out, she’s babbling up a storm, and still sleeping through the night (phew).
• Lyla is getting more into roblox on her iPad. She’s been drawing less lately which is a bummer. 
• Mom applied for 2 new jobs last week that I hadn’t anticipated doing.

Week 461 - 6 years & 1 year (17 months)

 2/7-2/13

• We got a big storm early in the week and got to get out and play. Harper has a hard time walking through the snow but likes walking up and down the drive way.
• Wednesday we got word daycare was shutting down again due to another positive case :(. Back in quarantine for 2 weeks.
• Harpers favorite show is still Elmo. She even says ellmooo.
• Lyla is having a hard time with school remotely.  More so this week than others. Lots of tears and yelling.
• Mom found out a job promotion I thought was a done deal actually wasn’t.  Was not a great week for me.
• We celebrated the Super Bowl with all sorts of snacks all day and hung out. The weekend was the half time show.. felt old because we had no clue who he was.
• Come Saturday we made yummy double chocolate chip  valentine brownies that Lyla decorated.
• Lyla lost her second tooth eating dinner Saturday(bottom tooth)

Week 460 - 6 years & 1 year (16 months)

 1/31-2/6

• Lyla ended up home for 2 remote days due to a big snow storm. Finally enough snow to use the tube.  Harper could just walk around outside all day long.
• Harpers new words are sit, push, and side (outside).
• This week she woke up early (5:30) for some reason (no fun).
• Mom binge watched firefly lane all week. Thank goodness the kids both sleep at night.
• Lyla was so happy to finally be back at school. She actually even has a brand new teacher she met.
• The girls favorite song to dance too this week is party freeze.  It’s a freeze song that’s catchy.
