Week 138 - 2 Years 7 Months

2/5-2/11

PATRIOTS WIN THE SUPER BOWL

• We started a sticker chart to help with Lyla's poor listening skills.. Lately she's been running amuck, hitting, and not being very nice.  So far the chart is working and we are able to get her to focus on the task.
• We invited the Chagnons and Sullivan to watch the super bowl with us and the kids had a blast.  The guys stayed for the rest of the game which was an amazing game.  The patriots came back in the 4th qrt and won in OT.
• On Thursday we got a storm that dropped 14.5 inches of snow.  We haven't had a chance to go play in it because its been so cold.  Hoping to on Sunday.
• Lyla is obsessed with Chapstick and playing with my spices.
• On Saturday we turned lylas crib into a toddler big girl bed.  Night one was a big success.
• Momma made stuffed shells and they were delicious.  I'm getting the hang of this cooking thing.
• We went to breakfast with Gramma and Auntie Katie at Cracker Barrel and Lyla was so good. Cant wait to go back



Week 137 - 2 Years 6 Months

1/29-2/4

• Had our pictures taken at JCP.  Lyla does not like the flash so we didn't get that many pictures to choose from this time.
• Lyla wanted to walk to Ms Aprils and play so off we went with her baby.. didn't make it very far.
• Got our hair cut again by Ms Suzy.  Lyla is going so good sitting all by herself.  next time we are getting a full hair cut.
• Lyla has gotten the hang of using an open cup.  Mom is just nervous of big spills still..



Week 136 - 2 Years 6 Months

1/22-1/28

• Mommy had her second school committee meeting for WTA.  I'm really enjoying being able to contribute back to my high school with my story, a possible internship to MM, and tours for the school.
• We made are own pizza's and lyla helped get the dough ready and rolled it out
• Mommy and Lyla went on a date to Friendly's.. Lyla wasn't on her best behavior this time around..
• Lyla is now starting to stay 3-4 word sentences which is huge!
