Week 81 -18 months

1/16-1/22

-Lyla now says cheese, moo, roar, quack quack. Bah, achoo 

-loves putting puzzles together 

-favorite toys are blocks. As soon as she wakes up she wants blocks

-said "good morning " on Saturday!! 

-threw a huge tantrum at the hu ke lau 

-went to the Holyoke children's museum and Lyla had a blast! She enjoyed playing postman, in the water, and with the big lite bright

-Lyla had her 18 month check up and she's doing great. She got to stand on the big girl scale and is 22 lbs (50th percentile) and she is 2'9" tall (85% percentile).

-lyla has started wearing 3t pjs 

Week 80 - 18 months

1/10-1/16

-Happy 18 month birthday Lyla!

-sleep has been a little different. She's all of the sudden going to bed later and doesn't want to read.

-loves playing with her blocks.

-"kick it" was the word of the week 

-was biting again as she has more teeth coming in.

-played with Brandon over Krows house while watching football playoffs 

-mommy saw Cinderella with Jen and makayla at the bushnell

-loves helping putting things away.

-noticed her dresser and started opening and taking her clothes out and putting them back in.

-went to the Amelia park children's measum. Lyla loves collecting balls in a hard hat and playing in the grocery store.

Week 79 - 17 months

1/3-1/9

-blows kisses when saying good bye

-is getting very picky with food.. One day she likes something and next she doesn't.

-Lyla stopped letting us read to her before bed :( very sad.

-when we pick her up from daycare she gives us a hug then runs to get her coat. So cute!

-started understanding her Minnie puzzle and she will put the piece in the slot or close to where the piece should be and really thinks about it.
