Week 135 - 2 years 6 months

1/15-1/21

• Her speech is getting so good.  More sentences with multiple words that we can understand. On Sunday morning she said "Grandpa read the choo choo book"!! She now is gramma easily, house, April's, Bye Friends, See ya soon, On our way home, mailbox.
• Grandpa came over to watch her Saturday so Mom and Dad could go to a 40th surprise birthday party.  Lyla was basically kicking us out of the house.  Grandpa even got her to bed without any fuss...
• Sleep was still challenging this week but getting better.
• She is starting to talk back this week.. she will stomp her foot down and scream no.. not fu
• I can finally get all of Lyla's hair into a pony tail and even a little bun. So adorable.



Week 134 - 2 years 6 months

Happy 1/2 Birthday

1/8-1/14

• Went to Amelia Park Children's Museum on Sunday and then later went to the store where we had to sit in the cart and told me specifically where to put items.
• We had a week of not wanting to go to sleep at her normal time or one night not at all.. Perhaps 2 year sleep regression..
• Went through all of clothes and put them into bins.  Hard to believe she was so little not that long ago.



Week 133 - 2 Years 5 Months

HAPPY NEW YEAR

1/1-1/7

• Went to Billy Beez on Sunday to get some energy out from being in the house all week.
• Lyla celebrated Christmas at Daycare on Wednesday.  We made cupcakes to share with her friends.
• Lyla got a cute barn from Ms April with Animals
• On Saturday we decided to go out to dinner at the texas roadhouse and go grocery shopping in what turned out to be a pretty decent storm.. opps.. I guess the weather man was right.
• Lyla loves dipping her food into anything right now.

 

Week 132 - 2 Years 4 Months

12/25-12/31

• MERRY CHRISTMAS
• Daddy stayed home because of the stomach bug on Christmas day :(
• Lyla was so excited to see that Santa visited our house and delivered presents. She ran right over to the tree and started opening everything. 
• Daddy and Mommy had the week of while daycare was closed for vacation.  Due to the stomach bug all over the place we stayed in more than i hoped we would. 
• On our vacation we visited Uncle Matt and Aunt Doro and Cousin Vienna.
