Week 31

2/15-2/21

 

• Had breakfast at the Delany House for mommy's birthday with: Gramma & Grandpa Deaton, Great Great Gramma Deaton, Gramma & Aunt Katie.
• Came down with the stomach bug on Friday morning just when things were starting to get good with your sleeping.  Dr said its goin around and could last up to a week.
• Daddy was traveling for business so it was just us girls home so gramma had to come to the resuce with pedialyte Friday morning. Thank goodness it was school vacation.
• Learned we have a second tooth (on the right side) coming in as well.
• We LOVE apples, squash, and zucchini mixed togther, you couldn't get enough. We tried yogurt puffs but that seems to be the one thing you dont want to put in your mouth.
• We had to miss gramma thayers due to our tummy bug.

 



Week 30

2/8-2/14

• Lyla said her first word, Momma!  Of course she says it most when she's looking at daddy.
• We have a first tooth! her bottom left came through finally. Now they say the rest start coming.
• We tried green beans and apples this week, Yummy Yumm!
• Lyla is getting very good at sitting up on her own.  Every now and then she gets too excited and falls over.
• Sleep has actually started to get better ever since we started the new formula, thank goodness.
• She does this new thing where she squish's her faces and breaths heavy through her nose then laughs.
• She hasnt been outside to much to play in the snow because its just been too darn cold.  Wind chills below zero most nights.
• Tried to give her yogurt puffs but she wasn't really sure what to do with it.



Week 29

2/1-2/7

• This new formula seems to be working much better than the others so i think we are on to something.
• We tried squash this week an it was a hit
• Switched pediatricians this week and feel much better about things
• We booked Lyla's first birthday party! June 20th ! So exciting
• We visited Matt and Dorothy's new house and had dinner at the Yard House.  Definitely got us thinking about buying a new house

 

 

Week 28

1/25-1/31

• This week we tried homemade carrots and she liked them!!
• Sleep is still awful.. isn't she tired?
• We were back at the pediatricians to change formula again.. we will see if this one works.
• We were thinking about going to Disney this year however we ended deciding to go in 2016
• Still no teeth :(
