Week 32- still winter squash or size of the tire on a big wheel

This week we took  maternity pictures at Forest Park with Alison Marie Photography. We got a few teasers and can't wait to post the rest when they are ready.

 

Now that Lyla is about 16 inches long I'm noticing when she has hiccups which seems to be at least once a day which is cute.

 

Her dance parties have slowed down a tiny bit.  Most of her movements are in my ribs or she tries to reach around to my back.

 



Week 31 - Winter Squash

Acid reflux seems to be calming down a tiny bit.. The trick seems to be not eating past 7ish.

 

 

Found I've lost 2 pounds in two weeks however I was sick one night this week which was probably why I was down in weight, midwife wasn't concerned.

 

only 6 more weeks till she's considered full term - YIKES

 

Only 2 more weeks till my shower, cannot wait to see all the cute baby stuff

 

Put up her curtains and her rooms looks extra cute now.

Week 30 - Winter Squash

Lyla in the morning is so cute!

Her moves are slow, gentle, and almost groggy then by the end of the day she's throwing a dance party.

 

Started packing my hospital bag because we all know how much of a planner I am.

 

Oh yeah duel charlie horses suck... 

 

At work this week I started training one of my two backups for while I'm out.  The other backup/intern starts Monday. These next two months are going to be busy :)

Week 29 - Winter Squash

This week she's started to maintain her own body temp and her eyes can dilate and contract.

I've gained 4 pounds in two weeks.. Its been cold and rainy so we haven't been going for our walks.. Next week better be nicer.  I'd go walking at the mall but I don't trust myself not buying cute baby things.

This week we brought our "support person" to the prenatal/centering class. The topic was labor. Pretty sure he was sweating. I asked if he wanted take a child birthing class and quickly he responded with no haha.

The midwife thinks Lyla flipped over in which she's still head down but her back is now on the right side of my tummy. 

We didn't get much sleep this week as I'm now dealing with severe acid reflux.   We've been trying to figure out the trigger and I might be on to something.. if I stop eating before 730 so far I've been okay.. going to keep testing that theory.
