Week 457 - 6 years old & 1 year old (16 months)

 1/10-1/16

• Kids were both home last week in our final week of quarantine.  Thank goodness no one had symptoms and it really wasn’t any different than any other week.  
• School decided to stay closed for 2 more weeks (now nor opening until 2/1. 
• One thing that’s been tough is trying to order food via instacart and not going into stores. Often food we order isn’t available and it’s tough to pick out substitutes.
• Lyla still hasn’t lost the 4 wiggly teeth.
• Harper slept another full week all night which has been amazing.
• Harper started saying Bye & still loves to read books.

Week 456 - 6 years & 1 year (15 months)

 1/3-1/9

• Daycare was shutdown due to positive test cases. One was in Harpers room so we are all now in quarantine until 1/16.
• Harper has sleep all night for the entire week. It’s felt so good to sleep again. 
• I book my flights to Disney in April. It’s exciting to have a count down again.
• Lyla is remote until the 19th and I cannot wait for her to go back. 
• Lyla has been playing a lot of Osmo and doing some really challenging problems & getting really good at drawing.
• This week I attempted to be dairy free. Learned early in the next week that two things I was eating still contained dairy.. the only thing I noticed was I was breaking out on my face.
• Harper said cracker & book

Week 455 - 6 years & 1 year (15 mo)

Happy New Year!

• We celebrated the new year at home just us 4 & a ridiculous amount of Chinese food.
• We started watching schists creek & it’s hilarious.
• Lylas 4 wiggly teeth still haven’t fallen out.
• Harper is back to not sleeping. She slept Xmas Eve & day but not after that.
• Dad popped Lylas snow tube so we ordered a new unicorn tube.
• Grandpa dropped off another Osmo gift for Lyla. She’s doing so great with it. We do math, problem solving, spelling & more.
• We are watching a lot of Elmo & Christmas blues clues this week.  Harper can now say Elmo.
