10 weeks

9/20-9/26

• Lyla had her first overnight with Gramma while Mamma and Daddy went to Bob and Katelyn's Wedding.
• We almost had to go get her because someone didn't want to nap or fall asleep. Eventually she gave him and slept all night.
• Had to go shopping for some jammies as Lyla has grown and is now in 6 month carter sleepers- YIKES!
• She also moved on to #2 diapers - STOP GROWING! 
• This was Mamma's first week back to work. Daddy stayed home and played with Lyla   I think I did very well. I only cried once on monday morning driving to work but I've surrounded myself with her pics and it makes the day go by.
• Lyla went to the Big E for her first time and she did great.

9 Weeks

9/13-9/19

• Spent our first family day together since she was born on Saturday
• Went to Audrianas 6th birthday party on sunday and Lyla dressed up as Cinderella
• Monday daddy took a sick day because he was exhausted from selling pb at the boston local food fest so later in he day we went hiking up Mt. Tom.
• Tuesday we went to a new mom's group with Jenna and Harper @ grow.
• Wednesday we hung out at the house.
• Thursday we went for a long walk with Jenna & Harper at Ashley reservoir in Holyoke and also visited daddy at the Amherst Block Party.
• Friday we hung out at the house as that was my last full day with her at home before going back to work.

9/6-9/12

HAPPY 2 MONTH BIRTHDAY



• Hosted gramma's belated 50th surprise birthday party!
• Went to Shannon Chagnon and Jill's Baby Showers (both on the same day, we were busy)
• Visited MassMutual (cannot believe its almost time to go back to work.. not ready)
• Went to Grow for the baby wearing meet up with Beth & Baby Mae, and got to meet Penny (KC Wheatons new baby girl).
• Had our two month check up
• I weigh 11lbs 12oz 50th percentile
• Head: 38cm
• Length: 22.5 inches
• Picked up her Halloween costume - she is going to be a bunny.
• Friday we were super busy:
• first visited Kim (daycare) to observe and meet some of the kids
• Meet everyone at Tangles (where I get my hair cut) as they were dying to meet her.
• Then went to gramma deaton and grandpa Thayer's house to visit.

7 weeks old

8/30-9/5

• We were having explosive poops this week.. one happened while we were at stop and shop in which I actually had to wash the car seat and my kitchen floor... Luckily Aunt Kate was there to help.
• Celebrated my mom's 50th b-day finally by hosting a surprise bday at my house.
• We met with Kim our daycare provider and I feel better about leaving her. I'm sure i'll be a mess when the day comes that I have to drop her off.
• We switched to just taking formula for now on. It was a hard choice but there was no way I was going to be able to find time to pump at work.
• We have 5 generations of Deatons in one house. That is not something you hear happening and its pretty amazing.
• Football started again. Can't wait for Brandon to arrive so Lyla will have a football buddy on Sunday's.
