Week 312 - 5 years & 37 Weeks

5/10-5/16

  • 9 weeks of working from home, no school, no daycare, wearing masks everywhere.  I’m actually enjoying the flexibility working from home full time offers. I can work out mid morning if I want to, log in and early/late and flex my hours.  So far MM is saying the soonest they might re-open the office is sept and it would be gradual.  We’ve embraced instacart and had big y groceries delivered to our door vs waiting at Walmart. To often Walmart was out of stock on the majority of my cart.
  • The need to bulk order has started to calm down which has been a weight lifted. The only times  I get nervous with food is when I can’t get water to Harpers bottle or we can’t get milk.
  • Most people are in a big rush to have the country re-opened and it’s getting interesting to see folks true colors & what shelter in place has done to folks mental state. We are very lucky here that we are doing well.  Next week we are supposed to hear if the state will begin phase 1 of the reopen plan and what is in each phases.
  • I’m in no rush to get back to running around all day.
  • Winter is finally gone and spring is here!! Bugs & all.
  • Harper isn’t crawling yet but moving around on her belly & rolling to get from point a -> b,
  • She tried scrambled eggs & liked them. Oddly enough the only thing she won’t put in her mouth is food lol.
  • Lyla is having a hard time with getting school work done at home. Usually I’m trying to work while helping her through an assignment and it’s not fair,  MM is given employees more time off to support family right now which has helped.
