5/9-5/15
- Harper is learning the parts of her body (head, mouth, feet, eyes, belly) & is saying more words like mine, no, baby, duck, Mickey, blue, das, mom, up
- Lyla is doing really well at softball. More engaged than dance which is great.
- Lyla is getting very good at reading and went to Barnes & noble to cash in a gift card for more books
5/2-5/8
- Lyla had her very first softball game & she did fantastic!
- Mom celebrated her 13 year anniversary at MM.
- It’s been very chilly in MA. Still long sleeves & coats.
- Harper hasn’t been eating much lately & very picky.
- We had negative Covid tests (phew). The test didn’t hurt just was annoying.
- My Disney clients dropped off goodies :)
4/25-5/1
Girls Trip
- Mommy surprised Lyla with a mother daughter trip to Disney! I kept it a surprise right up until 2 hours before we left for the airport.
- The surprise: I created a scavenger hunt around the house with 4 clues each giving her just a little hint of a clue. She guessed it at the right time & couldn’t believe it was true. She thought she had a Dr. appointment which was my excuse to get her out of school early.
- Trip: we stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in a Pirate theme suite. We took Disney’s magical express which she was so excited to be riding in a Disney wrapped bus & inside we watched a movie & it glowed inside. We visited two parks, Magic Kingdom & Epcot. Our resort is on the new Skyliner so we got to take the Skyliner to Epcot & that was fun. Lyla especially loved the resorts main pool. Had 2 big watersides. It was the perfect quick trip that we both needed.
