5/2-5/9
- This week Lyla got to decorate all sorts of baked goods. Found Lyla a donut making kit from Dunkin Donuts. Kit came with 4 plain donuts, 3 different frosting (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) & 2 different types of sprinkles. She was sooo excited. My neighbor made up these cookie decorating kits with I think 8 cookies, 3 bags of frosting, & 3 different types of sprinkles. Lyla could decorate all day long.
- Lyla this week definitely tested us with attitude & sass. It’s very frustrating to be inches from her face asking for her attention or to stop whatever she’s doing and she acts like we aren’t talking to her. I ended up taking Friday off to hang with the kids hoping that would help.
- Harper still isn’t sleeping through the night but her sleep is improving.
- Harper is moving around on her belly, pushing way up on her arms, and pushing herself backwards. Wouldn’t call it crawling yet but she’s getting there.
- Harper rollers finally belly to back Saturday night & Saturday morning walked forward in her walker.
- Lyla is doing amazing with Math. She could do math all day long. Reading though.. not her favorite. She gives up very easily and makes up words by looking at the pictures on the pages vs just looking at the words to sound them out.
- Daddy got mommy Mother’s Day flowers early. Celebrating in quarantine this year :(.
- Harper loves blueberries & yogurt, applesauce, carrot & spinach.
