6/14-6/20
- This week I took off from work with the girls. We played neighborhood, splashed in the pool, and did some crafts.
- Harper had her 9 month check up this week. She weighs 17.6 lbs and is now on the 35% for weight.
- Harper started crawling on Friday. More like an army crawl with a hop but she’s moving forward.
- Harper tried toast this week and is even picking it up with her fingers,
- All week we started to get the basement ready to be remodeled & finally on Saturday we started to paint. Lyla helped here & there but mostly just kept planning what she was going to do in her new playroom.
- Saturday morning mom ran another 5k. It was HOT.
- We are still sheltering in place although the governor is starting to re-open businesses mostly for outdoor dining. People are still testing positive for COVID but cases in Massachusetts have decreased. It’s still strange seeing everyone wearing masks & Doctors wearing face shields. Florida did re-open before us and is now seeing a sharp increase in cases.
6/7-6/13
- Mommy thought this week was the last week of school... oops next week is.
- Harper did a lot of planks this weeks and finally by Friday she started to get her knees under her. Tiny forward movements. Any day she’s just going to go for it.
- Harper chases us in her walker around the 1st floor.
- Lyla might have a second wiggly tooth. She’s nervous to eat hard things or hot dogs.
- We started watching A is for Adley on YouTube and got some fun ideas. Lyla loves playing neighborhood where you create a little neighborhood in your home and pretend to be neighbors and go shopping, catch animals, go grocery shopping (from the pantry) and more.
5/31-6/6
- Us ladies participated in our first car parade this weekend! It’s the big thing during COVID since we are still not a lot in groups of people we decorate our cars & drive by friends homes to celebrate.
- Harper is doing so well as sitting up now.
- I did my 5th 5k in a row this weekend.
- For Art this week we made salt clay pinch pots & then painted them.
