Monday-Wednesday Notes:
1 week till Lyla's due date!!
At this point I'm getting exciting and more scared. I keep overthinking what might happen, how things might feel, what were we thinking, are we really ready, pretty much freaking myself out like usual.
We are kind of okay that she hasn't come sooner as we might be able to join the family in new York while brach is on his paternity leave.
On Mon and Tuesday night Lyla was super active like she was in the earlier part of my 3rd trimester, I think she's looking for a way to escape.
Braxton Hicks contractions are continuing to get even stronger and its getting hard to move around the lower she keeps getting.
Monday morning I made a decision to take advantage of FMLA provided by Liberty Mutual in which I can be out 2 weeks prior to her birth without impacting my STD time of 6/8 weeks. That means this Friday will be my last day of work. I'm glad I made the choice especially if she doesn't arrive by sunday. This way I can be resting, be home, or be in a place that i'm comfortable with if i start going into labor or my water breaks. We are looking to see if Brach can work from home as well as he works 45min -1 hour away and I'm not to comfortable with that.
Thursday:
At 3:30AM we went into the hospital because I had thought my water broke. Found out my water did not break but I was having contractions and was 2cm so they kept me for a couple hours for observation. I stuck at 2CM so they sent me to home with instructions to rest, eat, and stay hydrated so that is what we did.
