- Happy birthday dad!!
- This week kicked off a wild weather week, Sunday there was tornado touchdowns in near by cities so we headed to the basement for about an hour Sunday night, not to much damage. Then Tuesday night we got another bad storm with tornado watches but not warnings. The wind was very strong so much so that trees were down all over & people in the city lost power for almost a week. We got lucky and was only out for 5 hours.
- Harper tried shredded chicken, pinto beans, and white rice week and loved it. I’m starting to let go of purée food & moving into more solid foods. So hard as she’s my last baby & I felt like I was just getting into a groove of making my own baby food.
- Lyla pushed buttons this week & definitely challenged me. Wouldn’t listen & continue doing something I didn’t like & would say “opps too bad.. or oh well” so frustrating.
- Harper stopped blowing kisses & clapping but is still saying mom mom mom or dad dad dad.
- When trying to walk with Harper she’s preferred crawling this week vs walking.. she’s getting very quick at walking also.
- Lyla has been obsessed with watching people decorate cakes so she decorated Andy’s. It was our first time getting the cake out of the pan & a two layer cake. We have a lot to practice but it worked & didn’t last a full 24 hours.
