Happy 6th Birthday Lyla!
- We celebrated Lylas 6th birthday COVID style. Unfortunately we are still in quarantine and wasn’t comfortable even outside having people over so we celebrated just the 4 of us.
- The night before I stayed up extra late & decorated the house with Unicorns & made it as pretty as I could while staying quiet. Our ballon order didn’t arrive until the next day (I was not happy) but it turned out to work out as an extra surprise. And omg she loved the giant unicorn. Her name was magical & she went everywhere with Lyla up until Tuesday as she started to deflate.
- For breakfast Lyla wanted Oreo pancakes from D&J Hash House.. then after our hair cuts (yes we actually went into the salon with our masks) we got McDonald’s for lunch and then for dinner we had panera bread (she loves cheddar broccoli soup in a bread bowl).
- So did really well with not having a party and hadn’t seemed as bummed out as I thought.
- We finally after 3 or 4 months, maybe even longer, got our hair cut. Felt amazing to get inches off.
- Harper now has like 8 teeth coming through.
- She’s crawling normal now & is very quick.
- She’s really good at picking food up & getting it into her mouth.
- Sleeping still isn’t great.. getting better but she still wakes up and looks for support to go back to sleep.
