Week 478 - 6 years & 1 year (21 months)

 6/6-6/12

• Last full week of school for Lyla. Thank goodness it’s been a wild school year.
• Lyla had an awesome checkup at the dentist. No cavity club.
• Her bottom tooth is super loose & her top teeth are coming in.
• Mom got a new tattoo. It’s Lyla & Harpers birth flowers.  Lyla: Larkspur & Harper: aster.
• Lyla went to Analees frozen bday party and was so shocked and surprised to see Anna & Elsa visited the party.
• Finally warm enough to go swimming! Lyla is doing fantastic without a lifejacket.

Week 477 - 6 years & 1 year (20 months)

 5/30-6/5

• Mom & Dad went out without kids for the first time since Dec 2019. We went to skyline brewery, great awakening brewery, and tin bridge brewery.
• Lyla played Mia in softball this week
• Harpers hands were deep in her mouth and we think the final teeth are coming in.
• Harpers favorite book this week was the wheels on the truck. She loved doing all the motions (wipers on the bus go swish, horn on the boat goes toot etc)
• Was cold at the beginning of the week but warmed up by the end of the week
• The mask restrictions are lifting. No more outdoors but in some locations if your not vaccinated you have to wear one. Lyla doesn’t mind which is good. Hoping soon the restriction goes away because Harper won’t like wearing one.
• We hung out at Jens for Memorial Day. It’s been great to go places & see people again.  
• I enjoyed being home more & somewhat slowing down with everything happening and hope I don’t go back to go go go again but it’s also really nice to get out of the house & go to the park or a restaurant or even to a store to try clothes on. 
• I hit my new weight loss goal of 140 this week. Losing weight during all this has made buying clothes hard. For over a year you couldn’t try anything on in stores. Meant a lot of returning or just wearing old baggy clothes.
