Week 103- 23 Month

6/12-6/11

• Lots of new words this week: "Not okay", "Stuck", "Spoon", "Please","Cheesy","Block","Down", "Up", "Shoes", "Boots","Socks".
• First full sentence "don't wanna lay down".  Sleep got a little better this week but something was bothering Lyla early in the week.
• Lyla is getting really good at matching her colors and putting shapes in the right holes.
• She now knows where her head, noes, belly, knee's, and ears are.
• lyla is getting very good at saying "Stuck".
• We went and played at Stanley park on Saturday morning.  I was pretty sure she would have jumped into the water to swim with the ducks.. needless to say we didn't spend much time with the ducks.
• Lyla is also getting really good at telling you what noises the animals makes without you making it first.  Her favorite is bear.. roar.
• Loves to "tickle tickle"

Week 102 - 23 Months

6/5-6/11

• Happy 23 month Birthday!!
• Mommy ran in the Iron Horse 10k. Finish 1hr 3 minutes which was 3 minutes better than the year before. 
• Dad came home from his camping trip in Maine
• Mommy and daddy bought new cars.  Mommy bought a 2016 Honda CR-V and Daddy bought a 2016 Honda Civic. Couldn't pick them up until Monday.
• Lyla's speech is getting much clearer every day. 
• Sleep hasn't been great lately.. thinking maybe teeth..
• Lyla really loves being outside.. As soon as we get home from daycare.. "outside" and then proceeds to look for her water shoes.
• Lyla chewed through all of her straw sippy cups so I'm giving the 360 cup a try.

Week 101 - 22 Months

5/29-6/4

• Went to Eric and Ambers house warming party.  Eric proposed. Welcome Amber to the family.
• Went to the Memorial Day Parade in Russell.. Lyla did not like waiting for the parade but liked it when it went by.
• Daddy went to Maine Thurs-Sunday with his friends so we had a girls weekend.
• Went to Gramma's and had dinner with Auntie Katie
• Went to a childrens museum in Tolland CT with Jen and Evan. It was very cute and they loved it.
• Saturday was packet picket up for the Iron horse race. We decided to carb load at Cheesecake factory.
